Anyone planning on riding in Big Bear this saturday? I am heading up friday morning with a pair of Jeep to do a photoshoot and thought about staying up there friday afternoon to ride and maybe saturday morning. If anyone has or wants some plans up there I would stay and get a hotel for the night.

I'm pretty sure I'll be heading up there on Sat. I'll post the exact plans tomorrow.

Little rumor going around that they're loading DH bikes on the lift again, just can't ride Snow Summit's property. Plenty of other stuff to ride though, including the lift!

Really? I'd like to get confirmation of that. I wouldn't mind being able to ride there again.

Jason, I'm itching to get on those chair lifts. I'm about 80% sure I'll be joining you guys on Sat. I'll let you know for sure by friday.

We will.

This weekend biking/camping trip...Friday-Sunday. Hurkey Creek/Thomas Mountain. Yes night rides. Hope it is not too hot.

Sounds like fun! I'd hate to get up there and be told that they won't lift my Highline up... Are you taking the RFX? Still waiting on parts to build mine out. What are the plans for this ride?

Lifts open at 9 am, I'll be there ready to go on my Foes. It would be cool to meet some of you. Anyone who is not familiar with the trails there, I'd be willing to show you, since the trails on Summit's property are off limits.

I'm bringing the DHR with me. I haven't been up there since the Fall Classic in 2004 and don't remember where all the so called "illegal" trails like Troy Lee, Collins, Pistol Pete's, etc. were. Jason (jfromlv) is going to be our guide so it should be a blast riding up there again.

Oh my! Seems like a must do ride with you guys. I'll have to check and see if I can get up there for this.
