Default Sedona (August 26th - 31st)

Hitting Sedona for holiday with wife/son - arriving August 26th and staying approx. 1 week.

Bringing bike and noticed a few others on this board may be travelling, moved/living around there. If interested in hooking up for some riding then let me know

I'll be off to the in-laws in Vegas [08/27 - 09/04]. Gonna drop off the wife and baby and head out to Brianhead for 2days... and maybe hit up Gooseberry as well.

Enjoy Sedona, still a bit hot out there get your rides in early, that Red Rock radates the sun.

Ya but it is a dry heat....except when it is raining.

haha it defintely rained the other day. Huge afternoon monsoon storm. The pool area on campus got struck by lightning. Defintely the loudest thing I've ever heard.

Those monsoons are great aren't they. I am surprized more people don't get hit by lighting in AZ.

A couple of weeks back I was hanging out at Lee's Crossing on the Colorado River when a cell came by. Dozens of close lighting strikes...the ones that you hear before you see...ran to the truck for cover...did not seem to phase the local fisherman and outfitters on the river.

Been in my share of lightening storms in Texas...this is one kid that doesn't f' with those things!
