Talking Sunday 20 Aug - San Juan Trail!!!

I'm running out of weekends to get one last San Juan ride in, so I'm pulling the trigger!

Plan is to meet at the San Juan Hot Springs parking lot to depart by 07:15.

Hope to make it up to Blue Jay-area then head back down. Would like to ride Old San Juan one direction and New San Juan the other direction...not sure of the preferred route.

Won't be lighting paced, but it is a long grinder of a ride.

Already putting in my vote to grub at the BBQ joint on the south-east corner of Ortega and Rancho Viejo.

Hmmm - I have not ridden San Juan in a while. I think I'll join "The Dude". Any truth to the rumor you ride in a bathrobe with a Camelbak full of Bloody Mary?

Hmmmm, I might be up for this ride but doubt I'd have enough time to go all the way to Blue Jay since my parents are in town.......guess I shouldn't spend all day riding

I'm with Rob, we may hit Santiago Oaks for some huckage and some time save-age. San Juan is quite a hike for me from Bong Leach and I'm not really into that trail that much.

It is not where you ride, but an attitude towards certains trails. So yes, you to can be a trail snob.

Yeah, I hear you guys and really can't bust your ballz considering my inability to ride anywhere north of Orange or west of Newport...

But we'll have to slap together a few more patented STR rides before too long!

And yes, it is white russians (and ganja) that The Dude prefers.
