Default Where are you riding this weekend?

So where is everyone riding this weekend? I am thinking of hitting up Marshall for my first trail ride with my clipless pedals.

I am hoping for some interest in going up to Chilao, San Gabriel Mountains.

There is a group ride on lower the Merrills on Saturday but it is to warm that low down...I would like to get out of the heat.

Yep! you guys have fun. I would be going but got to go to Arizona. I am hoping I can get a least one Sedona ride in without cooking. Prescott (6,000 foot) is not that bad heat wise and has some trees/shade.

I'm going to be in Flagstaff and Prescott next week. If you're going to be in the area pm me your details and I'll try to hook up for a ride.

Craig, check your PM. I will be in Prescott for 9 days starting this Saturday. Can you bring your bike?..do you need a place to stay in Prescott? I will have maybe a day or two of work then the rest is MTBing. Have you been on Mt. Elden, in Flag? I will have both my bikes with me.

Hey, Frozen, I might be up for Marshall. I don't show anything on my calendar for that day. Unless someone from my area is going to the Merrills and wants to carpool with me. I'll let you know.

Dean, it's just heat. You sweat and drink. It's not that bad. Stop being such a whiner. It makes you sound like a roadie.

I'll be riding at El Moro. Doing trail assistance, so relativly slow-moderate pace. Starting in parking lot around 8 on Saturday.

I am not only a whiner...but a major trail snob. By Sunday or Monday I should be riding Mt. Elden in Flagstaff...high today in the middle seventys. Also thinking about hitting the Rainbow Trail, North Rim Grand Canyon.

As Napoleon Dynamite would say... "Luh-keee!"

I'm going with you next time. That's right. I invited myself.

Ya, I know it is out in the middle of nowhere...literally. Last time I was in that area the only radio stations I recieved were Navajo language stations.

Glen anytime, you are more than weclome to come. Cheap vacation because we don't have to pay for lodging and home cooked meals.

Anyone else heading to the National in Brian Head? Temps in the high 60's with an occassional afternoon thunder shower.

I didn't know there was a clinic this weekend. Hmmm. Oh well, the best riding day for me is Saturday right now. Maybe I'll ride Southridge instead, for the heck of it. I'd like to do the Sunset Ridge fireroad, too. But, I've never been on it so I don't know the way.

Now you've got me thinking. I've been working a lot more on my bike and have been wanting to go to this tool clinic. Maybe I'll do that Saturday and ride Southridge on Sunday early. Let me check with my XO and I'll see.
