Default Inland Empire ride for Sunday 7/30/06

Anybody riding in the area? I'd like to ride some dirt. I was thinking of going up Marshall to Potato Mtn. and maybe more. Anybody up for that or otherwise. Moderate paced, not fast. I'd have to be done by about 1pm (home that is, so back to the cars by 12pm).

I might consider doing Southridge as the distance is right, but that trail was in pretty bad condition after NORBA and I don't know if it's better now. Chino Hills might be fun since I haven't been there in a while.

i live in the inland emprie but i am making the drive to idyllwild for hurkey creek...we usually just do the 24 hours course and its about an hour per lap at a moderate pace and we will probably leave here early...like maybe 5am if i can get my buddy up that early..be on the bikes by 6:30 do two laps and leave by like 9:30 and that gives us an hour and a half per lap and be home by like 11. There is also a trail in hemet that is very fun to ride. It was my first single track and I've been wanting to head back there for a while, its about 30 minutes from the hurkey creek ride. So, if we can get two laps at hurkey done qucik, or maybe only do one lap and then go ride hemet. YOu are welcome to join us.

Starting at Mills sounds fine, too. You guys are much faster than me, though, I think. I think I could get to Mills by 8am. 7 is too early, though.

Plus, if I skip Marshall, I might not have to clean my bike as much when I get back! Stupid water crossings!

Okay, count me in, I'm there.

RTR4, thanks for the invite. Hemet sounds fun, too. Some time we should do that fer shure.

I would have gone with you to Pinos but I just don't have that much time to ride tomorrow. We have to ride soon, Mike.

Glen if you're interested we also do some riding over in Corona on Tuesday nights sometimes. We start at Skyline and ride up to Beeks Place , it takes about an hour to an hour and a half. Almost all fireroad but there's some technical side action on the way back down. Also I'll be back to doing Marshall after the Mammoth ride.

I'll have to check with the wifey about Tuesday nights. Part of the reason I haven't been riding with y'all as much has been my taking care of familial duties and whatnot. Thursday nights are still pretty good, too.
