Easy Aliso Ride Sunday 8AM

Shannon, Bruce and I are going for an easy Aliso ride Sunday.

Park at the church off Aliso. Route up Alma Road to Wood Canyon, Cholla, West Ridge to Top of the World, Meadows back to start. This is a very good ride for beginners that aren't afraid to climb a little. Besides Shannon (hbrunner) is looking for some more females to ride with.

No problem, it looks like maybe I am the only one doing this, Jose may still showup. Everyone else has had things come up.

I spent the late afternoon replacing the drivetrain on the singlespeed. After dropping a chain on a climb today, I finially replaced some long worn-out parts. Now I have some incentive to ride tomorrow.

Well I was originally doing this with Jordan but he text'ed me saying he couldnt go... so since your the only one going, what do you ride and what do you look like??? I am going to be driving a blue Neon with Yakimas on top and am riding a silver Specialized Enduro..... I think a friend of mine may go as well but it might just be us 3

how was the ride guys? i wanted to go, but ended up drinking more then i expected last night

First off, thanks for the ride Brian. Brian's bike had a bent derialleur hanger, from a mishap he had yesterday, so we cut the ride short. It is getting humid out and I for one hope we get some thunder showers in the next few days. It would be good for the trails.

After getting that cramp yesterday I still had a sore quad today, but I went out for a road ride with the Cycling Connection today. Pretty good fast paced road ride, 20+ when we were rolling. I missed this post or I might have headed back down that way again. The weather here was starting to get a little warm when we finished up around 11, but not really a factor (as in nobody crying or wimping out). Logged 50 miles and got some decent climbing in. They called it the 3 damn tour as we go up around San Antonio damn (Mt Baldy) over to San Dimas to Bonelli.
