Default Turner homers road trip

Check it out: http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=208126

I would love to do this trip but it's crazy busy for me at work then. If there's enough interest here, I'll see if I can squeeze in a few days.

I'd be in, but I don't think my flux would be a good choice for the trip.

I'll bet Rob wants to go, but is torn between which bike to take: Spot or Pack.

Don't fret, friend. I'll be your caddy, and "transport" whatever bike you're not riding. Whenever you want to switch, it'll be right there.

It's pretty much a win-win, way I see it

You'd be OK, I don't think it's a hard and fast rule you have to ride a Turner on every ride. I think one of the Team Sanchez guys rides an Enduro. You own a Turner, you'll likely demo a bigger one, you would be welcome I'm sure. For what it's worth, with some bigger tires you should be ok on the Flux. I know I've done some stupid stuff on mine it wasn't designed for without issue.

The more I think about this trip the more I want to go. I have business in Vegas, it's a pretty short hop to St George...

Yeah, I'm pretty interested in this myself. Steve the St Geo portion would be perfect for the Flux, but I still haven't rode Moab, so I can't say first hand. A friend of mine that goes every year said he prefers his hardtail to his Burner when he goes there. I guess about any bike would work, but if you plan on jumping/hucking, maybe not the Flux.

That's right 1 is on a Spec SX Trail and El C's bro is on a Yeti ASX i believe.... Remember Superstock's [Sean??] Moab thread from last year? I think he said the Flux [he brought both a Spot and Flux] would have done fine on most all the trails.

Craig, I so want to go perhaps not all the way to Moab but definitely So.Utah! I've been dying to do this. My wife will still be on maternity leave so i could drop her off at her parent's place in Vegas and head out for the weekend! I've got to figure this out!!! And I also need to start training harder. I'm gonna killed out there

FoShizzy!
Since it is an open invite... you're gonna make this right?
You know the homers would love to have you out there!

Yeah Dale, I'd love to go unfortunately I can't even get time off for the Mammoth trip yet alone a Moab trip BTW: Since my DHX coil is currently at PUSH getting the "race mods" I think the 6 Pack would be the obvious choice

Rob, let me know how you like the mods. Since I have have a few weeks of down time, I might send my coil out too.

Chaos, I'd like to hit the So. Utah portion too. Everything should be healed by then.

Will do, I'll have my shock back on Wed. so I'll be sure and test it out at Aliso/Laguna a couple times over the weekend and see how it performs.
