Santa Ana River Trail - Sunday July 9

The temps today at Angelus Oaks weren't bad at all. It was cool in the morning and by the afternoon we had some cloud cover, in fact we actually got rained on. So, in a way, we got a reprieve from the hot temperatures. Although, I might add, it did feel humid toward the end of the ride.

Second note, the trail conditions were very good in the morning. The rains from the afternoon put a bunch of muddy spots along the trail. Hopefully most of them will dry up so you guys will have a compact and relatively dust free trail tomorrow.

Lastly, there were not many bugs on the trail. But for some reason, they seem to know when you're tired and climbing, because that's when they swarm around you. (By swarm, I mean about 4 or 5 bugs flying around you)
