Thumbs up Today's shameful bump!
Wish I could offer up a carpool but we are staying the night with friends so driving solo this time!!!

oh yeah with all the excitement of riding up there for the first time and having to go change my shorts from peeing in them from all the excitement, i will say this now befor i forget.

alright so i'm going in some dickies (normal riding apparel for me) a "wicking" shirt, maybe a long sleeve underneath, shinguards my vans for my flats, camelback w/normal stuff, am i missing anything? anybody wearing a fullface?

Nope, I'm wearing my brain bucket and goggles (it can be really dusty)!!!

I'll be rockin my full face. I've spent too much time on my face in big bear not to wear it

I agree with denmo though, goggles are a must if you're riding in a bigger group. dust is bad for the eyes...

Also, if it's cold, get some cold-weather gloves. definitely a worthwhile investment

My Glove recommendation:

I use Latex (like in the Dr. office) gloves worn under my normal bike gloves which will keep your hands plenty warm. I personally do not like the bulkiness of cold weather gloves!!!
