No chutes this time....we had a few accidents on that trail last time and now that trail is even more loose due to the lack of rain. We can work on the technical skills needed to do that trail in other areas. Better Safe then Sorry.

Sherry - will we be able to take bikes out onto the trails, or just ride them around the stationing area? Will there be enough demo bikes to go around?

Yes you will be able to take the demo bikes out on the trails....enough bikes for everyone??? It sounds like they are going to bring a few different sizes of the Ex's and the Hi Fi's but I doubt there will be one for everyone depending on how many show up....but they plan on being at the transition area we are setting up from 9am-1pm.

The clinic is going to be like doing circuit training...we will be breaking up into groups and then moving thru different stations layed out on the trails and park and then returning to base camp between each so you could try and bike and then try another, then another...etc etc.

Obviously the road bikes will have to stay on the roads within Irvine Park.

Should be a great day! Pray it's not as hot as today!

We sat down last night and made some decisions on how we are going to run Sunday's Clinic:

There are going to be three different groups going out:

1..focusing on climbing and descending (beginner/inter
level stuff) all within Irvine Park

2...Handling skills in deep sand and across rock beds.
How to change a flat on the trail.

3...Obstacle Course on the grass. Bridge crossing, bunny
hopping, switchbacks, balance, circles, etc.

Each group will be out for an hour and then return to base camp...then you can switch and go out into another group.

After you master these BASIC skills it will make your riding much more fun and safe!

See you all out there!
