Monday Tom Da Bomb Epic, Mt Lowe

Another Tom Da Bomb Epic.
Meet at Jpl at 8a.m. up Lower Sam Merril up to Insperation up to Sam Merill west then the bomb down. About 24 miles, no beginners, this ride has it all. I.E. carpoolers meet at 210 and Carnelian in vons parking lot at 7:15 a.m.. call to confirm. 909-921-7924

Had another Tom DA BOMB epic. Group of 4 today: Tom, Mike, Mark(outlaw) and self. Distance 25.5 miles

We descended the same trails as the Gravity Day ride, expect for an add on near the top that was super sketchy and tough. The climb to the top wasnt nearly as bad as I thought and well worth it for the downhill!

Them older guys had a few crashes, soory no pics this time...

You are right once you get to Cape of Good Hope the ride up is easy. When I am lazy I park at the top (Easton Saddle) and ride the two upper Merrils and climb back out.

Yep, we crashed a couple of times but thats the chance you take when you ride the sketchyyys . Nothing to bad a little blood, and lots of grins.

Hey! I resemble those remarks the old and the crash parts anyway my legs look like a gang of moutain midgets jumped me on the trail and beat me half to death with those little baseball bats OUCH!
