Thinking of a long loop on Sunday.
Blackstar to 4 corners, then down Maple Springs back to the car. I think the loop is right around 35 miles, but the last 13 miles is almost all down hill. Planning on an early start around 7:00am

I can singlespeed to Beeks Place without stopping. Blackstar is a prefect SS traing hill.

I go up Skyline on the ss, but that MD kills me. I'm toast way to soon on it. Still I like this ride.To early in the week to commit though.

The climb betwen the motorway and 4-corners sux its long loose and steep. Ive ridden all of the Main Divide North of Blackstar and that probaly the worst hill on there.

Dean, I'd say those two are pretty close in difficulty. I could be wrong though as you tend to have more miles in by the time you start climbing out of Blue Jay and it may just seem harder.

Sorry Matt, I didn't get home until after midnight so I didn't get your pm till after the ride.
Ended up hitting the ride by myself on the SS, but cut if off at the usual Blackstar/Motorway loop. The weather was perfect............Sunny, but cool. A lot of sections of Main Divide between Beeks and the Motorway are pretty chewed up so I had to walk 4 short sections, but all in all a nice ride. I forgot how much I like this loop and was a little surprised at the pace. 73 minutes from the parking lot to Beeks Place, 77 minutes from Beeks to Motorway, 56 minutes back to the truck from the top of Motorway. Motorway felt pretty loose to me, but I think it was just not being used to the 2.1's. Spent too much time on the 3 speed running 2.5 up front and 2.35 in the back. I definitely got used to the better front end control of the bigger tire. Thinking of putting a 2.35 or 2.4 up front on the SS for the next ride. Thinking of doing this ride again next weekend........I'll start another post later in the week if I do.

Dood, Us normal people don't ride that loop anywhere near that time. Although I did make it to Beeks from the Skyline side in 58 minutes on the gearie. I then rode to the other atennea's but I didn't keep track of the time from that point.
