Default anyone ride Blair Witch lately?

I know the creepy house is gone now, about 10 years ago it was like no other ride that provided you with two things:

1) a hernia pedaling up there
2) creeping you out seeing the house

Anyone been up there lately? And if so are there any spirits lingering around where the house was?

I hiked down through the area in June and it was really overgrown. House is completely gone and you can hardly even recognize where it was too. It was fenced off tight at the bottom but my sons and I hiked in from the fire break from Marshall Cyn.

Where is this trail? It's not the Blair Witch at the bottom of Oaks is it?

Seems like a lot of trails have a place called Blair Witch. I was thinking the Fully Loop.

Yeah, but this was the original, all those pretenders came later on. I rode up there about 3 or 4 weeks ago looking to do a little different route. It's kind of a shame the house is gone I liked it and always thought I'd like living there. When the house was there I never encountered any other riders going up there while we were riding it and this last time I rode past two other groups who were doing the same route. I don't know why but it seems like it's a lot easier to get up there now.

Whats the story behind the house? Mass murders or something?

As I know it, they found a few bikes near the trail left abandoned. As they searched the house, they found the same amount of helmets and gloves vs the bikes they found. Couple of months later, they found bones on the back yard. The house is furnished and clothes are left hanging in the closet but its never occupied. Some say they see the rooms lited at night.

Yo beware young people!!! There are restless spirits that occupy the trail and some say they take form of coyotes
and ghosts. Late night riders beware!!!! Heed this call!

The home was once fully furnished w/ piano, closet of clothes, dining room table, dishes, etc. Then one day it was abandoned. Noone knows why. Certainly it wasn't from a default Fannie Mae loan.

Hikers and bikers busted into the home vandalizing it, some people even slept overnight taking refuge in the living room. An old piano there was creepy---some keys missing and it was out of tune. The thing that was most creepola was the closet of clothing left. Some riders told me that framed photos of family members were also left on tables---I never saw them. It was like the family was
gone on an errand and was expected back any minute.

Of course a fire burnt the home to the ground, like the fate of most abandoned homes. But the home, nicknamed
the Blair Witch, most likely from that silly movie, didn't like the intruders. So becareful where you tread my young friends!

I rode this trail several years ago and came up to the house, I was interested to see why the house is where it is, only to find out it was abandoned, I tried to get in, peeked through the the door and it was pitch black, as it was nearing around 7pm. I shut the door and as I was walking back to my bike, I heard loud enough footsteps as if someone was coming to the door, I stopped and paused and waited for someone to leave the house, but suddenly turned quiet again, I rode off back to my car.

edit: in the photo above you actually see a figure at the door, nice capture of the anomaly and speaking of which, there are some photos I noticed that people upload here on socaltrailridersm some of those pictures they take actually have presences of spirits, I remember seeing one and wondering where the riders were, ill point it out if i see it again.
