Default Raptar Ridge Chino Hills

Just got back from a Chino Hills ride. Up Bane Canyon down Bane Ridge to Telegragh up to Four Corners and then down Raptar Ridge and back home to Bane Canyon.

I keep telling myself that Raptar Ridge is getting better but it's pretty rough! It needs some weed wacken. But Bane Ridge is alot of fun. Thanks to all of us that hacked and wacked at the weeds that Saturday.

It's very easy to string together 20+ miles out at Chino Hills. It may be mostly fire road, but it's still one of my favorite spots to ride when I don't feel like driving far. The single tracks out there are fun, but some are still pretty overgrown.

Give it a go; it's worth it if you are out that way. If you have a SS, bring it. CHSP is the reason single speeds were invented...

If you are up to it we can do either after 4:30pm friday!

I am down for Sunday.

David, there are 65+ miles of trails in CHSP. You can put in as many miles as you want. You can also get in some decent singletrack along the way. Nothing epic, but fun and can be good for training rides.

Someone has cleared the first part of Raptor about a half mile down the trail. Otherwise it needs some love up the hill and to the power tower. Sidewinder is not in good shape AFAIK.

If Dan is coming he has to carry an extra 35 lbs or so to even things out on the climbs. A BOB full of beer should cover it.

Hey,

I'm up for a Sunday ride too. I just don't like responsibility. Who wants to post one?

Oh yeah, baby. I'll gladly lug around 35 lbs of some fine malt liquor.

Ya'll aren't too particular about your beer, are ya?
