When the repair on the toll road is suppose to begin, I'm not sure. I hope sooner then later. I miss the toll road...

Funding OK'd to fix Mt. Wilson Toll Road

PASADENA - The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has unanimously approved an agreement between Pasadena and the county's Consolidated Fire Protection District to repair the Mount Wilson Toll Road. Rainstorms in the winter of 2004-05 made the road impassable, blocking vehicle access and extending emergency response times to the area above Eaton Canyon by 40 minutes in some cases, officials said.
The lower portion of the road has been closed due to massive landslides.
The steep, dirt road has long been popular among hikers and cyclists.

I love to hate that climb. It makes access to the front range around Wilson so much more fun.

I have never ridden this since I am fairly new to the area but Have heard a lot about it. Good news!

nice, on our ride Saturday, Scott and I were just laughing about what will be fixed first... the bridge at the bottom of the Gab above JPL... or the Wilson Toll Road.

It's the Energizer bunny of climbs, and it's a lot closer to me than Black Star.
