I think I might be doing the early start and extra mileage, so I will probably drive myself.

Check the size
I went on a ride with a friend (her first time), taking a helmet for her to borrow; when we got to the trailhead, it barely fit her.

We have a helmet, too. I'll try to remember to put it in the pack (size Medium).

Where would you want to meet? At your place or just pick people up along the way?

It's easier for us if you came to our house. Does that work for you? I will pm you the address.

I'm leaning towards the early start. 1st time doing SART, can someone give me directions to the trailhead.
What type of trail is Loch Leven? fireroad or singletrack?

Who is doing the early start?
Thanks

Google map to the Loch Leven Trailhead (John Elliot Trail) on post #95.

It is the old paved Highway 38: turned to dirt, turned to mostly single track. 1/3 the way up a old bridge is gone so you have a 5 minutes hike-a bike to bypass it. Moderate grade all the way to a subdivision below Angelus Oaks then maybe 1/2 mile working thru the houses to get back to Highway 38 and a few 100 yards to town.

Allison's geoladders route takes the SART all the way back down to Morton Peak then a pavement climb back to Loch Leven. I believe they plan coming back down John Elliot Trail, the same route they climbed.

Good route, but save it for a cooler day.

Head count looks good for saturday, wondering who is all in for the 7m start?
I believe it is:
Me, Jose, Gene, Troy, Justin..who else is in?

Can't wait to see the others at 9am. For those of you who have not done this before, pace yourself!
It is a long ride with a 3 mile climb at the end out to the cars so don't forget that one!
