Default Slow Poke / Beginners Ride

I know that NORBA is happening this weekend at Southridge in Fontucky, so maybe a 2-3 spin somewhere either Saturday or Sunday AMish.

We could keep it simple by parking at Ridge Park (Pelican Ridge, Newport Beach) and doing the stuff up on top of Laguna Wilderness Park, and El Moro. Easy single tracks: Missing Link, Fenceline and lots of fireroads with minimal climbing. If more adventure *desired* we can do Old Emerald Canyon or Red Tail out to the top of Rattlesnake and back.

Google Earth file for parking.

It would be a good warm-up for the midnight ride, methinks. As long as I don't do the midnight thing on Friday, I will probably be here too.

If this gets scheduled on a Sunday I'm in.

I'm in for Saturday, but not for Sunday.

Midnight ride @ Fully Loop Saturday night means I would never wake up in time for a Sunday AM ride. lol.

EDIT...then again, I could just consider it "exhaustion training", right? Hmmm...I guess we'll see!

Finally over my cold and here for a weekend Minimal climbing? Easy singletrack? just what I need to ease back into things! It'll be a bonus for me as I've never ridden in those parks yet. either day works for me. it'll be nice to meet a couple more people.

I'll be doing a 150 mile road ride (Temecula to Long Beach and back) so if there is an easy ride on Sunday please let me know the particulars.

Dean, are you just riding the one day?

No I will ride somewhere on Sunday, but it will be SS as the 5-Spot is not done yet. I thought I would go to NORBA tomorrow but it looks like a full work day tomorrow. I would like to work NORBA somewhere into the weekend.

Maybe it is time for you to get some "easy" SS time. I am open to suggetions.
