Yo dude I am down, I love noble but have only been once. When I went my friend and I brought two trucks and shuttled it was an awesome 2 hour DH ride. I have a truck but its really shitty and I don't think itll make it out there again. But if my friend gets his bike back from the shop this weekend then we will try to go sunday, would you want to shuttle?? We can probably manage three bikes in his suv but itll be tricky, would what yuor driving hold three bikes??

I have wanted to ride noble again ever since the first time I did it, just far as hell out east thats the only problem.

Check it out man give me your number and I will call you tomorrow, I confirmed my friend and I are going on sunday morning hopefully we can leave the house around 8(not too early) either way its gonna be a hot day but seriously the breeze at the top of the mountain is excellent so are the trees. At the bottom it was a little hot.

I've only been once like I said, it took us 2 hours to get down and we both only had one water bottle that was gone by the time we were done. We had no spare anything, but this time I'm bringing a backpack, more water, spare tube or two, and a camera. We were going pretty fast last time, but no matter what if your faster or slower we will be close I'm sure. Haul ass ahead and then wait for the others to come if needed.

Anyway we are bringing two suvs, so we might even be able to shuttle with two cars cuz not sure if we can get three bikes and three people in one but we can sure try, either way were bringing two trucks. You need 5 bucks I think to pay for a car pass to park at the top so you might think about that. Were located in clairemont you?? You can PM me your number if you want, peace man

Can I get in on the shuttle action? I have a audi wagon with two roof racks. I've never done noble and wouldn't mind shuttling it for the first time. I live in Oceanside if anyone wanted to carpool.

Yo sdstumpy, you should team up with newbie1 and his xterra that way we can have four riders and four cars to easily shuttle noble. If anything I'm thinking everyone shoulda meet off old highway 80, at the general store to park the first cars. To get to noble you head out on 8 east, to pine valley, then turn left(north i think) and head to old highway 80. Turn right and youll see the general store on the left not to far from where you turned. Well meet there park some shit then drive further down old highway 80 going east and then finally turn on sunrise highway left going up the hill. about 10 miles up that hill and your there.

I am not able to ride with you but if you are shuttling you have a couple of options (maybe more). Depending on where you park at the bottom you may need a National Forest pass for the vehicle at the bottom, too (a pass is required for the one at the top--you will be ticketed if you don't have that pass). At the bottom you can park in the National Forest lot and hence need a pass. The last section of Noble to this lot is some of the best riding on the trail. Or you can park in Pine Valley in the supermarket parking lot (for free) and take the leg that lets you out into a residential area. There are dirt jumps in this area so it depends on what you want to do.

Check out the SDMBA web site, they have a very good map and detailed explanation of how to ride up and your various options.

You can pick up a day pass or a yearly pass at the general store

Hey guys if anyone can drive to noble newbie is planning on going for sure so he would be driving an xterra and can easily hold one person with a bike, and myself and another buddy are shuttling as well so if no one goes newbie will be shuttling with us so no worries.

But if you wanna go to noble(I dont know why not!!!) then you have a shuttle buddy ready, so let us know I'll check back here frequently. Peace

woot woot!!! Every things is settled we will be shuttling with four people riding yeeaaa!!!

I'm bringing a full face, my friend doesn't have one so hes wearing a regular bell. I have shin and knee gaurds but didn't bring them last time and probably wont this time, but if you plan on get super big then just bring it. I'm gonna bring a camera and water, Gatorade too now! lol Don't forget 5 bucks or at least 2.50 to split it for the parking pass.

See yyou guys tomorrow, PEACE!!

Looking forward to it. If I'm not spent after the DH I was thinking about heading up to Big Laguna for some XC riding. Its such a far drive I figure I might try to kill two birds with one stone.

Hey guys any room for one more? Somehow I missed this post earlier but am always up for noble.

I can get myself out there and to the top, so all we'd need to do is work out the vehicle retrieval afterwards. That should be no prob if one person waits at the bottom with the bikes.

I also have a second forest pass you can use rather than buy one.
