Default Visiting the LA area 7/25-8/3, any rides planned?

I will be visiting from the DC area 7/25 - 8/3 and will be bringing a bike with me (don't know which one yet). Looking to ride in the San Gabs and my goto Sycamore Canyon. Does anyone have a ride planned for this time period?

Which Sycamore Canyon are you talking about? There's one in every county (Riverside, SD, LA).

Me and my buddy are considering coming along.

By "intermediate ride", does this mean it's a fast paced, slow people be damned, kinda pace?

We are relatively new and slow climbers but will pretty much take on anything.

Cheeseboro is a low intermediate ride. It's not a grinder like going 4000 feet up the San Gabes to Mt Wilson from the yellow light at Alta Loma St.
