I have to work early Saturday morning just a mile from the trail head....if I have to work on Saturday then I also have to ride SCST's !!!

Its been a while since we've had a group ride in San Clemente, so I thought there might be some interest, plus the trails in better shape now with some weeding and bike traffic than they where a couple of months ago.

I'll be rolling out at 11:30 sharp.

another lurker that might want to go.

My main concern is the heat that time of day. Do the San Clemente trails get really hot that time of day?

i'd be down to ride earlier around 9am. never ridden there but would like to check it out.

Nope. It's only 2-3 miles from the beach at the far end. No hotter than Aliso.

This ride will be at a social pace, meaning regroups when necessary and no pressure to keep up with the group.
Weather should be perfect and I’m sure that everyone will have a safe and sane time because it looks like Jesus H will joining us!

It looks like the RSVP funtion still has the funk, if so you could always replie to this thread.

We had a group of 10 +Saturday morning, the single tracks where perfect. I had to leave at 10:00, you can ride till 2:00 on a normal day. It was nice and cool all morning. I hope your ride is a good one. Ladera Dave

Rode with the 11:30 group. Good times and got to try some new trails. The marine layer held out for us and the sun didn't start peaking out till the very end. Thanks to all for the great ride!
