San Gabes AGAIN! 3 for 3!

Doing the same loop that 17 of us did this last Sunday and 9 did the Sunday before that. I'm headed up there with a college buddy, feel free to join!

Lower Sam Merril to Sunset to El Prieto. Parking will be at the JPL parking lot at the end of Windsor and surrounding streets if its full. Meeting time is 7:30am, be there on time so we don't leave without you! Trying to get an early start to avoid the midday sun.

A bit of exposure on LSM on the climb for those not familiar with it. Below are the RR's for the past 2 Sunday's:

This route says 13.8 miles (3 miles or so on road) with 2600ft of climbing. Most of the climb is on the first half, but it is well worth the DH that follows.

Not the best newbie ride because of the exposure, but if you want to try the San Gabes out this is a good starter.

DIRECTIONS: 7:30am at JPL parking lot at the end of Windsor Ave. Take the 210 W to Windsor, take that north until the parking lot on the left. Arrive early!

indeed, we'll regroup a bunch and take the much needed "hiker" breaks on the way up that initial climb - so the earlier we roll the better!
