South County Jumps

So a good friend of mine kept insisting he had the most off the hook ride spot right near his house. Me being lazy (and not wanting to drive to ride my bike) had put off discovering this place until just about an hour ago. With a little trimming this place will be the site of many future escapades. There are even some single track and DH lines that did not come out well but the pics tell the tale.

I'm not trying to keep the place a secret, but dont want a mob scene either. Plan on mellow sessions after work maybe but please bring a shovel and lend a hand with the lips, berms and landings. Also there is no better way to attract a dozer than to litter, park conspicuously or piss off the local residents....

That said who wants to shred?

After the Le Mans start at whiting tomorrow I plan on chilling and digging a little bit just down the street at this place. All are welcome if anyone in down...

That looks like a fun place to ride! I wish I had the balls to jump that kind of stuff. Is there small stuff to play on?

I won't make it tomorrow (going to Big Bear), but I would like to go some time!

looks like pleanty of room to build, just bring a shovel and build what you want to ride. I have seen jump the double at orange, you should be fine.

Oh yeah there are about ten different lines, and nothing huge. I may throw together a BMX just to shred here and etnies. You can't see it but there is a ladder drop and that large hunk of plywood is a Wall ride. These are just "fun" jumps, not too lippy or huge like sheeps or Hidden with gradual trannys. The first few sessions will likley just be cleaning it up and getting bombed.

As stated I'll be out there saturday after whiting to do a little trimming, if anyone wants to come out and pound sand...

I think I know/heard of the place. All I have at the moment is my trailbike, but I'll be bringing flat pedals adn pads to whiting so can come over there after. I think a 5 Spot should be just fine to hit some of those doubles on!

I have a silver Hyundai with Idaho plates, will be at whiting and will help dig after, but I do plan on about 3 laps of whiting, want to ride!

It aint like there's a gate or anything, mostly I will be trimming brush. But I ride a 5 inch Kona which is just about right for this kind of spot.

did a ride at Whiting and was going to go over to these jumps. I need to know where the trailhead is, where to park, etc.
