Meet at Blackstar gate ready to ride at 4pm.

(same ride as the upcoming July 4th ride.)

I am sloooooow so we can have 2 groups... a sloooow group and a faster group or we can all just hang out and ride together.

Pamela, hope you guys stayed cool. I was climbing the 3 b!tches at 4pm and thinking of you guys in Blackstar canyon roasting.

Thanks pho - I tried to stay cool. Went through all my water. It was hot and the faster guys were so nice to wait for us at the top. (shhhh.. I think they waited an hour or more)

I am doing this 2 more times this week if anyone is interested PM me.

Smokes! That's what I call getting your Blackstar on.
I hope you go out for Tim's 4th of July ride. Sierra peak is 30-60min. from Beek's depending on how fast you are. Keep it up, that's a good climb and you'll only get faster doing it.

Pam, thanks for putting this ride together and for the company on the climb up. As well to Rockinthecasbah (sp?) for the encouragement. The others I can't remember names of thanks for waiting up at Beeks.

I can't believe I made it up on my first try, but I can take credit for pacing myself and not succumbing to the heat. Would like to do it again when I heal up after a small crash on the downhill and when it's a bit cooler!

Thanks for the photo Tehelmo. You wouldnt have crashed if that mountain lion hadnt jumped out in front of you

Oh and Rockinthecasbah thank you for hanging out with us. I enjoyed riding with you. Too bad we didnt see any critters for you to play with but maybe next time. I think it was too hot even for the critters.

Thanks for the pictures Eric. I just noticed you got all 5 of us in the first picture. Pretty nice. Wow, I didnt know you found a critter. Nice picture.

Thanks for being so patient. Did you ever hear anymore about the sheriff?

Doing it again Wednesday if anyone wants to come. Its on the calander.
