Look's like Jake and are gonna meet up with Joe for a little "head start" on you guy's.
I've got room for one more from O.C. if anyone want's to tag along. Let me know, and we can meet up early at The Path.
This is gonna be cool.

Thanks for setting this up David!

If I can make it I''ll ride over from JPL via the streets. It's really not that bad and is kind of a nice warm up before the climbing begins on Lower Sam. It's really not that long of a ride condsidering we are only going to what I figure is 1/3 the way up. Very scenic though and the downhill is a great payback.
Darin,Jake will be okay for this, as it's really not that bad. We will be into hikers but with the forecasted weather it might scare some of them off, it did last weekend. With this shorter distance we should beat the heat easily it won't be a big deal anyways. But do top off your hydration packs anyways.

David, remember, you can't use the "oh, my alarm clock didn't go off" or "my phone was on silent when you called and I didn't hear it" or "I was taking the trash out and tripped over a rodent and got a boo-boo so I can't go" excuses tomorrow. People will be there waiting for you @ the JPL lot and if you no-show, your head will roll. Don't worry, I'll be sure to let them know where you live.

Ooh! I wanna be that chick "Cha Cha" from Grease who drops the flag as you two head up the mountain to start your drag race. (And except for not having her exotic looks or boobs, I could totally pull it off.)
Mmmmm ChaCha!

alarms are set!

Now I just have to put my bike back together. Even the frame is in pieces.

I count at least six, with a couple more possibilities on the way.

I will more than likely make it. I am riding from my house so I will catch up with you guys at the top of lake or going up LSM. I will be in that area at about 8:30 or so if I am there.

Just a friendly reminder, bring Poison Oak protection...pads, long pants, shirt...whatever works for ya. Sunset and El Prieto have tons of PO.

Hey Willie and others I'll be starting from JPL at 8 am. The ride over to the top of Lake will take a half hour or so. Let's try to leave at 8 am though, not get there at 8.

Mike, we'll either see you guys @ on LSM or wait for you all @ the ruins @ White Castle Estates. I'm meeting Daren & his son on Altadena Drive & Lake and riding to the trail head from there but via back streets and some dirt.

Sebastian, why don't you meet us @ Lake and Altadena Drive @ 7:45 and we'll cruise up with you.

we're leaving the JPL parking lot at 8am (no 15 minute or hour wait period tomorrow) with who's ever there in hopes of catching the Maxwell's on LSM, or hopefully as they're starting. I count 6 of us at least in this group (willie/jason, trojan, jay, myself and painfreak)

always possible to turn it into a longer ride, but we'll see how things go and how people respond to the trails up there

Will this be a big bike ride or will a 6" trail bike be a better choice. Either way I'll see you guys there.

Sorry, but I've got another rider tagging along now.

Man, it's almost 3am. I'm going to bed.
See you guy's in a few hours.

Joe, we'll be in a white ford escape, with bikes on the back.
