Saturday's "less ambitious" ride...

ITT/Coldwater was pretty good. I think DFT may have broke his hand, he said he'd report after he got home from the ER. I forgot what a beautiful trail Indian is. Great views and just plain pretty. I managed to slow the guys up somewhat but we still finished in under 6 hours.The downhill on Coldwater is a technical gem, but you better be on your "A" game. That mutha is steep. If this trail gets some more use it could turn into one of the best the Santa Ana's has to offer, but there will have to be some rerouting and maybe some waterbars added. And even though it was brushed I highly suggest that if you ride it, you bring leg pads. Royta and friends will have to ride this more to get it perfect. I had a real fun day and I will do this one again.

Yeah Pain Freak, that was a lot of fun today (uh, yesterday). After going over the route in my mapping program, I realized the nasty stuff is only in the last 1 mile of Coldwater. The first 4 miles (leaving out the short hike-a-bike) are probably some of the nicest singletrack in the Santa Ana's.

Hey pips!! sorry for taking a while to report bacK!! but been freaking busy!! whoaahh!! what a weekend!! neways just wanted to thank the few that showed up on this kick ass ride!! I had a freaking killer time and loved the sweet ride!! great people great times ect, etc we have to do this ride again soon!! just let me know k!! ahh yes almost forgot gracias Mr Kipp for letting me test that sweet ride of yours!! OMG!! the Ecodood and I where like DANNNGGG GINNNAAAA!! that biiacchh can freaking climb like a god!! hmmm very sweet bike dood fooo real!! maybe just maybe I will save my penies for something like that maybe soon.
