i'm not sure how long, maybe a 6 hour total time.

But you could bailout via descending Sullivan Ridge after we do the Caballero Canyon climb or Farmers Singletrack. i think we should be done with that portion of the ride by then.

Either way, join us for part of the ride.

Dam, two epics in two days? I don't think these ol legs have it in them. I did this exact route a while back. Gawd, I love J-drop. Keep in eye out for the rangers as they were giving tickets last time I was there.

Thumbs up Turnout

Excellent ride today!! Everyone got to ride a new trail today, including myself which was my first time doing Farmer's Singletrack (santa monica mountains's version of the angeles national forest, as i've been told) & we were not disappointed!! we had a blast and kept a great pace. we were extremely fortunate not to have any sort of mechanicals/flats or issues that may have caused us to slow down.

Those who showed up today were:
FoShizzle (great meeting & riding with you!!)
Pshloss
Outlaw
SingleSSpeedster
Dirttorpeedo

Thanx for showing up for this one guys!!

We ended up cutting Sullivan Canyon & Westridge out of the ride today because of reports that the canyon had an excessive amount of water flowing thru it. the weather was very cool in the morning which made it great conditions for all the climbing that we planned. the single tracks were very rutted but it made for a very technical and challenging but exciting time!!

Stat's:
25.45 miles
4500+ elevation gain (according to Pshloss)
25.9 max speed
7.1 avg. speed
3:33:13 actual ride time

Excellent call on this one Armando! The weather was perfect, the early start was a good call, too. Those were some wild singletracks, for sure. Props to the singlespeeders for doing those, especially FoShizzle on the full rigid 29er. That's definitely going on the short list for a return trip soon.
