Its too hot to hit up any destination type rides, so i figure I'll head up a Los Penasquitos Canyon tour if anyone is interested. We can stay in the tunnels for most of the ride to beat the heat. Super fun ride...I finally know my way around decently to head up a ride. Meet at the Sorrento Valley Parking lot at 7:30 am. Riding by 7:45. Pace will be determined by the group, all are welcome! I'll be in a black audi A4 wagon.

Just changed the time from 8:00 to 7:30 to accommodate some peeps. Works for me. Plan to ride for at least 2+ hrs depending on how people feel. If anyone needs to bail early don't be afraid to show up. We never actually get too far from the cars and its pretty easy to find your way back.

Just got back from LPQ/Tunnels and it wasn't too bad. It should be even cooler tomorrow. Sunday mornings are bad for me, but have fun!!

i think i just ran into those on monday. a mess of new stuff.

looks like there's a new way down to the 56 as well.

I might park my car at ProBuilt and ride over; the preserve parking lot is to remote and a bit to sketchy to leave my car there.

7:30AM sounds good to me. I'll make it there if I can. I'm kinda bruised up, tho.

But I am interested to look at the latest alleged trail damage attributed to the equestrians, over by the switchback trail near #5.....they were supposed ta have cut lotsa branches back, and left 'em in the middle of the trail. I've learnt to go look-see for myself when it comes to these reports.

this ride was last month. I'll be in noble this sunday.
