Default Let's bust out the cruisers...

- Those of you not going to (or already in Downieville) -

I was just talking to CPATCRASH and we were discussing the heat -

We got to thinking about riding cruisers at the beach this Sunday as opposed to riding in the dirt...

11:00am in HB; Brookhurst parking area (off of PCH @ $10 per car) towards the end by the river jettys.

Any takers? We could cruise the boardwalk from Newport to HB and maybe get bites and beers/sodas/water, etc. -

We are both definitely doing this to beat the heat this weekend - JOIN US!

I will be in the ocean as much as possible this weekend...I'm sure I'd be game. However...suspension on the stairs down there is always a good time

Dammit. I can't make it this Sunday. And I just put this cruiser aka 'The Red Devil' together.

I'm game. A post-SART relaxed ride sounds good to me...

We are still working out the details and we would certainly entertain ideas/suggestions...

Meet at the parking lot at Brookhurst ($10 per car) at 9:00am (or later) sound good for everyone?

Well....my only input is....you can ride the whole 20 miles (wedge to hb pier and back is 20) in a couple hours ....which leaves us at 11....one hour short of beer o'clock. Perhaps a meet time of 11??

That sounds good to me...11:00 at Brookhurst? Parking at "the" wedge can be a bit of a biatch...

You ride WAY toooo fast at the beach....slow pace and stop at every other bar on the way down and hit the ones you missed on the way up

later like that would be preferable to me - saturday evening's festivities may preclude an early sunday morning...

Ha!! Certainly an option; I'm sure some will do that and others will just roll...either way it will be fun.

Oh noooo...there have been times (ask Apexman) where it was two hours between each of.... Beach Ball ...Blackies...Mutts and Cassidys where then of course ending in a lovely swim for all the girls and an emotional moment of "no man I love youuuuuuuuu" while watching the sunset...that took us about 10 hours.

Daily thought: some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs!
