Bonita Bikers are gathering for a night ride at Lower Otay Reservoir on Friday at 7:00 pm. Ride starts at 7:15 pm. This is mostly rolling single track with some fire road mixed. We'll ride about 18 miles around upper and lower reservoir, down to the 125 Toll Rd, then back up to the start. Your light will need 2 hours of charge (just in case). This is a fun, quick paced ride that is well suited to night riding. We typically host this about once per month. Hope you can make it.

Directions: From the 805, take Olympic Parkway east to Olympic Training Center. Make a right on Wueste Rd and go just passed the Training Center entrance. Park on left side of road by swing gate. I'll be in the silver Subaru Forester. Click the link and view the "street view" for 1834 Wueste Rd. We park adjacent to the yellow swing gate.

I'm Sorry but I won't be able to make it for the evening ride tonight. I just
remembered that today was my nephews 4th b-day at Chuck-E-Cheese. So please put in some pedal time for me and I'll "scarf down" a couple of pizzas and wrangle up some kids for you.

Well it was a good ride. We ended up pounding out about 22 miles, most of them in the dark. It was a good paced ride around the reservoir followed by a drop down to the 125. Had a visit from the friendly neighborhood Border Patrol and the Ranger. No worries though. Thanks again to all those that came out. Next time we conquer Otay Mountain.
