Best Trails / Grp Rides in San Diego Area for Someone (me) visiting from out of state

Evening. I'll be heading to San Diego in approximately 2 weeks for vacation.

I am an avid mountain biker in Western North Carolina doing mostly aggressive all mountain (lots of climbing / fast downhills) rides and wanted to see what the options are for something comparable in the San Diego area.

Ideally, I'm looking for 3-6 hours of riding w/ a medium paced group to simplify things so that I do not have to fuss with directions (not good with them)

As I've never been to California you could tell me there's a free ride park in the middle of a mall and I'd believe it.

Also, I'm looking for suggestions on a shop that can hook (rent) me up with a ride for the day.

I'm on a Turner 5 Spot for most of the riding that I do.

Open to any thoughts or suggestions you may have.

Sounds like Noble Canyon may be what you are looking for. Not too many organized group rides there though. Check out MTB Bill's site for other options.
