I'd love to do a ride up in the San Gabes this weekend, if I could find a willing guide. Haven't ridden up there in over ten years!!!!!

I was up at Charlton Flats a week ago and the forest service was doing tree and brush clearing. The singletrack from Vetter mountain is covered with brush and tree branches making the singletrack unridable. The beginning of the Silver Moc from Charlton Flats to Shortcut Saddle is also covered in tree branches, although once you get past the brush in the first 100 feet or so, it was fine. The forest service doesn't think the work will be finished until the end of June.
