Poway region Friday afternoon group rides

Well, last friday was a bust but i know i posted too late to really get anything going. i'd like to see if there's interest in a weekly group ride in the Poway area with so many great trails in the vicinity.

What time were you thinking of starting, how long of a ride and what kind of pace?

i'm thinking 4 or 5ish, but even as late as 6 if it's what suits everyone's needs. i can ride all afternoon that way. i get off work at 2:30 and work at the 15 and TW, so i can be anywhere in the region by 4. The pace will definitely depend on where the ride is. i ride all mountain so i prefer a brisk pace, but i'm ok with a relaxed pace. Well, maybe not too relaxed. Last Friday i hit Iron Mountain which was a little rough in the 80+ degree heat but it only slowed me a little bit. Plus, few hikers out on the trail was a big plus in both directions. i know i was out there for at least an hour, but it wouldn't have taken as long up the hill if i had been wearing something to keep the sweat out of my eyes on the way up. That's not the longest ride in the world, though, and i have no problems with rides that last over two hours. i'd like to hit the Ted Williams trails since i'm right there already, but i'm open to whatever suits the group.
