Default Santiago Oaks 6-6-08 bring the big bike!

I'll be in the Albertsons parking lot around 12pm. The plan is just to session a few spots, theres a nice double rock drop section I want to clear. After that I will hike back up and do a full run.

Anyone is free to join, but at their own risk.
Let the good times roll! oh and it will be hot so bring lots of water!

hey now, at least we arent cutting trails or anything. We are using existing routes as a play area.

Afterwards will be the BMX track! of course not on the big bike though. Man I wish it was Thursday already.

Which spots are you going to session? Where's the "double rock drop"?

Working until 8 or 8:30 pm, and don't have a big bike built up yet. Looking forward to it though. I didn't know there was freeride natural type lines there except what I've seen on The Path photos, but looks like just one spot/feature?

I don't know how to explain it. Its not big though- so people probably dont see it as a drop. Probably more of a roll. But I always jump off the first and land on the second.

A friend brought up being able to clear both rocks- so it made me want to try it also. As far as the actual spots we will be sessioning it will be more of things we stumble upon and trying to catch some air off them.

Theres nothing to really freeride at Oaks. Everything can be done on a small bike, but I like riding my DH bike. Theres always something to jump off of at Oaks so it'll be fun. What makes it fun is that usually when you ride with a small bike at Oaks you look for the smooth lines. When you have a big bike you can look for stupid things to purposely ride/jump over.

dangit everybody is going all late.
I'd like to roll that time but I plan to do the BMX track after. Can't start Oaks too late or I'll miss the track!
