L. A. Acura Bike Tour

Who: All STR members

What: L.A. Acura Bike Tour, a 22+ mile fun ride loop that goes on the same route as the L.A Marathon. this route is closed to traffic, and goes thru various parts of Los Angeles. fun for all: older kids, GF/Wife, whoever can ride a bike. mainly a flat ride with festivites and a participation medal at the finish. you'll be riding along ~15,000 other cyclists.

When: Sunday , March 19th, 2006 @ 6 am

Where: Start/Finish line: Exposition Blvd. @ USC just west of Figueroa St.

Meet: 5:30 -5:45 am @ Parking lot located at the Northwest corner of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. & Figueroa St. this parking lot is to the Loa Angeles Sports Arena. I'll make an effort to park along the fence facing MLK Blvd. I drive a Red '98 Nissan Frontier with STR decals on my rear fenders. Make sure you exit: Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd @ the 110 FWY. from there go west on MLK, past Figueroa St. to the entrance on the right, pay for the parking then make sure you go right(east) towards the sports arena. then you 'll find me

This morning KTLA featured a big group from City of Bicycles in Inglewood riding this one. Looks like a blast . One of these years I'll get my lazy ass up to make that early start time...looks like fun.
