I rode Strawberry last weekend and there were some snow patches we had to walk through. Nothing more than 40ft long about 5-6in deep. Not sure about new snow though.

I don't like the cold one bit, but I'm dying to ride. I'm in for tomorrow at 9 if it's not pouring.

Cloudy and a little windy here in Laguna...no rain. I am going for it. Radar shows a band of rain over LA heading twards Pasadena..but it looks like scattered showers. Drizzling on Mt. Wilson.

See you brave few in a couple of hours.

Man you've got to love the curentness of this board. Just rolled out of bed and wondered if anyone was going to be at the trailhead. I'm in Pasadena right now at 7:20AM and it's coming down pretty good. Not a down pour but still pretty good. Then I log onto STR and see there has been a whole discussion this morning about the ride.

See you guys there is a bit.

I just talked to a friend who lives across the street from the Toll Rd and he says it's been coming down for hours. I'm going to puss out on this one.

i went to Southridge today instead, didn't completely ride the whole loop, but enough to clear my arteries for tomorrow. the traction was excellent, no mud and 2 other guys were there riding. it was a light drizzle, and not very cold which is why i over heated (i bundled up just incase it started raining hard).

the conditions at Strawberry Peak were really excellent. I was very surpised how nice it was.

I would like to thank Dean for setting this ride up....it was great to meet everybody.

The only bad part was that I could not do the whole loop do to mech problems.....and what was worse is that the really fun part of the ride was just about to start.

There is always next time.

Thanks again for the invite guys!

Cheers

I would have been in the same boat. My Duke on my ss is gone. Gawd, I hate Rocksux. I did have a Fox Vanilla on it,but it change the geometery so much, that I had to change it. I'm now in the market for a 80 to 100 mm fork. Ebay here I come.
