I'd love to ride tomorrow but it's going to be FREEZING there and I'm already feeling like I could be getting sick, so I'm going to stay inside. I've also got to strip down my 575 so EndoMaster can come pick it up If you guys go be sure and take some pics!

Yes, you are correct. We can always use the extra help. We plan to work from 9-2 and luch will be provided afterward.


We will be building singletrack plus a few switchbacks.


Plus, by helping out....you will be invited out to special ride events and a big volunteer party at the end of the year.


Plus, you will get a sneak peak at some of the trails that we will be racing on.

If anyone wants to come out and help, shoot me an email and RSVP. Please do not just show up. I need to know my head count so I can have enough food ready for lunch.

If we hadn't done that HJ/Trabuco ride a few weeks back I'd be itching to go...instead, this weekend turned into a lazy one!

Oh well, they can't all be epic rides, right?

And AZ will surely make up for it!

Got up to about a mile from 4 corners before the snow was too deep to ride.

The snow started less than a 1/4 mile from the end of the paved road.

Going back up there next Saturday.

it was November 21st 2004, Maple Spring. We turned back before the end of the asphalt, there was about a foot of wet snow.

With all this rain we're having, the closure might happen after April 30th even.

Are there any convenient Motorway routes, besides Maple Springs and Blackstar Canyon?

Those are the two easiest, but neither is super easy. Maple Springs is definitely the easier of the two. Of course, there is always the direct route up, which I've thought about trying... Actually, I did about half of it one time when I first started riding about 8 years ago. It was a killer for me then. I don't think it would be too bad now except for a few spots. Anybody done it?

what is the direct route up called?
