werd... as i mentioned on another thread, i rode that place last week and got a mighty dose of poison oak...

i saw gonzoloaroid's Poison Oak today at lunch, knock on wood, but i think i'm immune to the stuff, i didnt have any signs of a rash at all.

If you know chiquito you wear long sleeves!!!!!
If it rains all night sat no ride sunday, it will be a mess.
And yes we start at the candy store lot and drop san juan loop to chiquito, climb chiquito to viejo tie, back to chiquito down to san juan loop and to the lot.

Bummer, I got my new bike and can't ride. I went over to Southridge today to see some of the practice and maybe do a little. I was able to ride the downhill course down once, but I was way to slow. I felt weird on the new set up, and maybe I was a little to tenative. It'll take a ride or two to get use to the new ride. I rode a little of the xc course,but I forgot my helmet and the race guys were yelling at me, so I just called it a day.

chiquito cancel rain snow and freezing!!!!!!

Did this ride for the first time today. We started at the parking lot across from the General Store and went up to Blue Jay. Definitely a butt kicker both up and down. Had a little rain and hail as we were packing up to leave. I definitely recommend this ride to strong riders. Also, I recommend shin guards for both the brush and the rocks. The trail was in great shape, but still enough braches to give you a beating. Not to mention the multiple encounters with rocks and such.
