Switchback Cyclery will be putting on a Womens Only Riding Clinic on Saturday June 21st!!!

Free of Charge
8:00 am to 12:00pm
Beginners and Intermediate only
Staging at Irvine Park

We will cover:
1. Handling Skills
2. Descending
3. Climbing
4. How to change a Flat
5. Obstacle Course

Please RSVP here so we make sure we have enough
instructors.

This will be aimed for the newbie/beginner and intermediate riders...we will be breaking into small groups for more one on one instruction. It won't be over anybodies head...we will design the instruction around who shows up for the clinic.

We want to focus on teaching women to feel more confident in the descending abilities and also teach them some helpful climbing techniques....women will be there to do the instruction so we can tell you from a womens perpective how to handle the terrain.

We will start with baby skills and move forward from there!

We will be riding the trails in Irvine Park, Peters Canyon and Santiago Oaks depending on your abilities.

I think as long as her husband is not an instructor, Linda will enjoy this.

I am going to try my best to keep all the instructors women...we might have to pull a couple of men in to help depending on how many sign up...but at this point we have enough women to instruct about 50 women.

Depending on the abilities of everyone there should be a group that heads up Chutes...I know we want to take the intermediate riders over there to instruct on climbing as well....the beginners will not be doing Chutes!
