looks fun, but i would still be a little concerned about safety given the location of the event..

understandable, but i wouldn't do it if i felt unsafe in anyway. i say this because i grew up in East LA and rode at night all the time on a MTB. but the fact the the number of riders is so great, makes the ride very safe for the not so street-saavy rider.

Now that looks like fun.. Anyone plan on going next month? If enough peeps can commit I'll definately drive in for that.

I totally want to do this ride next month. you're more than welcome to carpool me for the drive into LA since i live in Ontario. i wanted to go on Friday, but the traffic in the rain was the major factor in deterring me from going.

Since you're in 29 Palms, you can always carpool with me into LA or anywhere west of Ontario if you want to join me for a ride. I live close to the 15 & 60.

There's a good chance I'll be at the Morongo Casino this coming Friday to see Metal Skool there at the Key Club.

Are you kidding? I'm 32, I grew up in the 80's... I <3 big hair bands!! I wen't to a concert in Cincinnati called the "Glam Slam Metal Jam" with most of those bands they cover. Sounds Awesome!!

Anyway, yah, I'm in for the ride. I bought my Heckler 2 weekends ago off 60 in Brea so I kinda know my way around there and can meet you somewhere. I have a friend up here that will probably want to join as well. Hopefully we can get some more peeps from STR to come along too.
