Hey Brew ,

Do you want to meet us at 4 Corners and you can guide us through Chino Hills State Park?

You can head-up the ride from Chino State Park side and meet us on top.

What is the best route? If we stay left after 4 Corners, is there a quick single track that will loop us back around to CCRP?

Do yourself a favor and stay on the fire roads... the single track in the park is really overgrown. We rode Bovine, Aliso Canyon and Sidwinder single tracks yesterday afternoon and I thought I'd been whipped multiple times with a leather whip. The mustard is just high enough that it hits you about face high... I opened my mouth several times to talk and got a mouth full of plants! eck! tooey!

It's going to be high 90s.

Should we cancel it?

Just ride smart, be aware of what your body's telling you & bring lots of liquids.

There are plenty of shady areas along the route up Telegraph to 4 Corners.

If I weren't already doing the Traverse, I'd join ya'll in a heartbeat.

OK. I guess this ride is still on. Bring lots of liquids. We will be taking frequent breaks on the climb out to 4 Corners.

In case anyone wants to forgo the Traverse, come out and join us on Saturday. I have a few friends riding the Traverse on Saturday. I them for riding all 41 miles in the 90+ heat.

I'm thinking we should bump the ride time up an hour so we can beat the heat a little more.

Edit, I tweaked my knee so I am switching to a maybe, I'll see how it feels tomorrow.

I think that is good.

The key is to drink a lot the day before the ride.
