I don't know about trail marking but I imagine they will at least have maps. It will be a mix of fire roads and single track. Since the ride does two loops and there are plenty of bail out points, just about any rider can do it. Lunch is included along with a shirt. I imagine all proceeds go to the Mountain Bike Assistance Unit at the Park. |

This is a really great place to ride for all skill levels. The distance makes it a challenge for you RacerX types, the scenery makes it a great place to ride for you intermediate folks, and the trails make it great for just about everyone. LOTS of good singletrack, along with an 8 mile downhill stretch. Yes, 8 miles!! The climbs are long sustained, not steep or technical. A good ride for everyone to really enjoy some good trails and some beautiful scenery! And as was mentioned already, plenty of bail out points if you get tired and want to head back to the car. These are beginner-friendly trails that can be made as hard as you want them to be because of the distance and the climbs.

There are several good places to camp in the vacinity. Do a google for "Cuyamaca camping" and pick the one that looks best too you. PM me if you want to talk more. I camp up there a lot and there are other great riding options in the area for Sunday before you head back home...
