Training ride for CC/VQ

Were planning on doing CC Route on Saturday.So far its me and Intnesekipp. Were to need to start early and bring lots of food and water.

I haven't talked to Matt yet, but the ride will probably be like the one that was supposed to happen last week.

We are going to shuttle and stock the car parked at MapleSprings with food/water. So we need to meet at the beginning of Trabucco dirt road early, around 7:00am??

Anyone else training for the VQ/CC want to join? I know some guys from Geloadders are doing this Saturday also....

Matt is the plan to leave some cars at the dirt lot @ Trabucco and then ride with the rest of the cars to Maple Springs leaving them their with supplies. Then ride the road to Blackstar and start their, eventually ending at the cars in Trabbucco dirt lot

So far it looks like we have 3 (including me) from STR and 2 guys from Geoladders(PHAT TIRE) and his buddy.

We will ALL meet at Trabucco dirt road at 7:00AM sharp. We will leave a truck here, then all shuttle to MapleSprings with bikes, along with extra food/water to refuel. Once at MapleSprings we will ride down the road and start climbing Blackstar!!!!!

Im pretty sure this is the simplest easiest way to handle this, any other suggestions??

This morning the news said that it looks like there is a possibility of snow as low as 4000 feet on Sat.

Hey guys. I just joined the site after chatting with Matt via geoladders. Anyway, my buddy Kevin cancelled so it's just me joining you. I have a double cab tundra so we can shuttle. Food storage...Matt's brining a cooler right? See you Saturday at 7AM. Matt

If it rain are we going to cancel the ride? I wouldn’t mind riding in light rain myself. What about an earlier start time since we have to consider the shuttle.

I tried this loop yesterday and had a rough time. Blackstar to Motorway I was all good, but I just sucked on maple. Really slow. I pussed out at 4 corners and went back to the car. I ran into OCRIDER101 and said hi. Dude, sorry if i seemed a little loopy, but I was pretty out of it. Did you make it to the peak?
