Laguna Wilderness/El Moro (Start from Ridge Park Rd)

THIS RIDE IS FOR MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2008

We'll be starting at the top of Ridge Park Road at 5:00 pm, at least for now, (I'll be driving directly from my work in Mission Viejo). We will be riding for a couple of hours. There are a lot of possible routes, but we'll probably go down Rattlesnake and end up in Emerald Canyon somewhere and finish with Missing Link/Fenceline. The pace will be moderate with stops now and then for regroup.

Parking is free at the top of Ridge Park Rd., but there are no "facilities" or informational kiosks.

Note: Beginners are , but you need to be fit enough to deal with some mile+ climbs and some rocky singletrack. Bring your cell phone just in case you get hurt or run out of water somewhere. We will write down all cell # prior to the ride so we don't leave anyone stranded on the trail. Please bring a lot of water because it's going to be really hot out there.

After the ride, if anyone wants to meet for grub (fish tacos or ), I'm in! There is a Sharky's Fish Tacos and 1st Class Pizza at the shopping center on Newport Coast Drive and Ridge Park Road.

Tell us what kind of car you will be driving and what kind of bike you will be riding. We will not ride off if you show up right at 5:00 pm.
