We will have the bike judging and jersey judging first... award the prizes...then do the ride.... probably start around 10 am... and may not do the full Loop... want to have the Races of Truth after the ride ... which will be a gas. I would imagine there will be a major party going on in the parking lot... see ya!

Can't wait. should be fun. I would suggest everyone bring tubes, tools, patches etc. just in case these Klunkers start acting up.

I will be attending. Not sure if I will have a vintage bike to ride but I'll be there for the beer Might even wear a sobrero to spice things up.

Why am I not surprised about the sombrero?

Hey, what's an "old school" brew that goes well with old school bikes? Any suggestions?

Hey Jesse Rockyhara!

You're welcome to ride the Red Devil cruiser, I warn you, she's a beast. But dang really fun.

hmmm...that's tough, since there weren't many around back then. Sierra Nevada's been around since the early 80's...i'm actually flipping through a 1993 MBA at the office right now - i'll see if i can come up with anything!

Not that I endorse it, but Anchor Steam Beer is a pretty old school one. I am not a huge fan, but it is "period specific."

I've got a big camelbak. Maybe I can fit an extra frame in there...

if anyone's running original skinwalls, i'd hate to suggest it, but someone needs to throw down with a spare tire as well in case we have a major sidewall malfunction. I should have one spare tire (one of them new-fangled kevlar bead ones) in the camelback....with the beer.

check those tires people!

Back in the late 80's and early 90's Jeff Lindsy of Mountain Goat came to the Bike Beat with Sierra Nevada beer and anchove pizza. This was back when Interbike was in Anaheim. Nothing like salt to make you thirsty.

I can't make the ride though cuz I'm going to Nobel.
