Ya baby Mt. Lowe sounds good next Sunday.
I know of a little known s\t above the saddle to Inspiration that is Baaaaaallllls.
We can start at JPL and get about 25 miles of great stuff and finish with El Prieto.
The weather next week looks really good.

The descents were: fast, technical, rollercoaster-like, and exposed. the exposure was not too bad, the containment walls allowed for 6-18 or more inches of consistent singletrack. The ride is 99.99% rideable, couple of logs/trees in the way, but nothing major.

Here's an idea to pitch for everyone: Since the loop starts & ends at the Switzer Picnic Grounds, how about we have a BBQ/picnic there after the ride? hopefully we can get up there before it gets cold or snowed in.

I'd like to hear your guys' opinion on such an idea of riding then picnicing/BBQing.
I don't know, I'm still more than a little nervous about that "exposed" bit. I fall waaay to often. I had the impression that there are stretches of singletrack along a hillside that drops dooooown. So, if you lose balance and fall to the wrong side, well, bye bye baby. Am I wrong? Isn't that what you mean by "exposed?"

Give me three to six more months of riding like I've been doing and I'll be up for it, I think. But, I have to feel a lot more comfortable with my clipless pedals before I can do something like this. I don't mind falling and hurting my hips or arms or legs. But, I am categorically opposed to falling and dieing at the end of a very exciting plummet.
