Default How's the McGill Trail - Mt.Pinos looking??

Has anyone ridden the McGill Trail this month yet??

Was hoping to take the wife and a couple friend's up for a nice day next weekend.

Driving back down the 5 freeway last weekend, it looked like there was still quite a bit of snow on Mt. Pinos. Probably needs a few more weeks before South Ridge, Harvest and the fireroad to the summit are passable. McGill itself might be clear, though.

soon my brother, soon. When the campsites open up I there. Chula Vista is available for camping all year too I think.

Shuttled it four times last sat., its pretty good, coupla snow spots, but dry as a bone in others.....

Figured the more runs we got , the more groomed it would be for everyone else. Just thinkin' of you guys! Getting rubber on the track, smoothing out the rutts, cutting good lines thru the snow pockets.......

Bernie, put Mt. Pinos & 6/8 on your calendar. Of course we'll be riding up McGill to Mt. Pinos.

She's ready to go. Just a little patch at the start of South Ridge but thats it. Perfect.
