This is from my friend Robert.
Here be the info for next Monday's ride, hope to see you there! Also, invite any and all who might be up for this jaunt. ) Okay, we are on for meeting at 8:30am on Monday. We got rained/snowed/flooded out last year, so I can't call it the fourth annual, but please join us for the the annual MLKJSPSR. This year are going to skip Red Box, and ride Sturtevant instead. It's not as much work as Red Box, since it got so messed up in last year's floods. This is a great ride, and a great way to start out the new year. With the rains we have had in recent days, we might even see some snow in the lower sections. 8:30am at the meeting place on Santa Anita Ave, Glendora. Here is a link to where we will be parking. http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?ne...getmap=Get+Map \ / |

Yeah that’s what I hear from people!! I will deft try it next time.
Well, we had a blast this past Monday. It was 25 miles more or less and took us most of the day to finish it up b/c of repairs and delays from slow riders like my self . Out of those 25 I think we did like 9 or 10 miles of tuff climbs. 6 of those were on the beginning if u done Strawberry Peak u know what I'm talking about. Sure was kicking my ASS I tell ya... The rest was fun fun fun. Technical switchbacks drops and nice fast descents. I gotts say that it was freaking cold up there!! man I have to put some money aside for a windbreaker or something N-e ways!! It was a kick ASS ride and was glad I made it trough and very happy that I didn’t break anything this time well, besides my computer that got taken by some rocks!! . But overall I think I did fine and didn’t keep the rest waiting for me too long... Here R some pics I want to share w/the people and hope we can all try this ride soon! btw George, How do I turn these pics or any into a personal album or show them on the album section? any help would totally rule.. ![]() |
