That's cause no one down there creates them!

I've been meaning to make an official Tour de Noble route for a year or two now, but route creating takes some time. I always wanted to do Elfin (have never ridden it, though), and tried to do one for Hodges, but something got messed up.

Just takes some leg work!

If anyone has the legs for it, it's you and mechmann. And lungs, and mental fortitude to "Git'r done."

When I did the two routes last year, I did basic routes just to get the ball rolling. The hope was that some of the SD riders would start adding more.

It's amazing that no one has even done Mission/LP/Elfin as those trails have been around for years.

Like Allison said, it's a lot of work to record, shoot, upload and do the directions for GL.

I've got a couple more routes in SD I may do (Grapevine Canyon, Boulder Creek Loop) but I'm not sure when I'll get down that way again. I just don't ride SD as much as I used to.

Leg work and cash. I'd be more interested in creating routes if it/Geo Agent didn't cost $90 a year. No thanks.

Agreed, and I have other reseverations about GL, nothing wrong with route sharing, but something about people coming down to here to ride for "points" bothers me.

Anyway, back on topic... who's in for Noble and when?

I'm in it for fun, exercise, camaraderie, and points, in that order. Being in physically fit shape is points as far as my doctor is concerned. I hope you don't come up to the San Gabes riding for "points." Just come up here for all the other reasons.

I ride to explore new trails. I use GL to find new trails and share the trails I ride. The points are just an irrevelant byproduct of riding a lot.

Wow all this chatting of Noble makes me home sick for SD. I used to ride that every friday. Of course that was back in the days before Mr. Rock Shox came out and I didn't have a real job...

I say go for it guys! go explore, consider it an adventure,do the basic route and then go later with those in the know to get to know the secret spots.

I'm unemployed at the moment so I'm free all week! I'm camping at the Laguna campground the 18th-20th. I've got an extra spot I'm going to cancel this Sunday since half the gang that was going flaked. Anyone interested?

Just post up what day and I'm likely in. I'm willing to carpool with anyone heading out of the San Diego area.

Not to make light of your situation, but I'd almost be willing to quit my job to go camp up there for a few days straight during the week.

Probably can't make the 19th or 20th but am thinking about May 3rd or 4th. Anyone racing that weekend?

So far its a paid vacation until June! Then, it might get a little interesting

Doesn't sound like this is happening this Thursday so I'm likely to jump on an Anderson Truck Trail ride. I'll check back later today though.
