Hey everyone. Enjoy the ride and when you pass the bent pole, think of me (we need a crash smiley). Wish I could be there, but Monrovia to Orange is impossible even with clear freeways.

it's gonna be a tight one for me with work today and sick wife at home.

If I can get out early enough may try to take my son in trailer if he is game and do "casual" ride at peters with him in search of rabbits, snakes, lizards and snails.

based on timing imagine i'll just start at park (instead of water tower) and try to find you guys/gals. not sure if i'll be on stinky or riot so keep eyes open for red chariot trailer in tow moving real slow.

Hope to see you and if not I am already working on a Thursday night edition of Taco Tuesday (assuming the plague at home doesn't get me as well)..

as always - good stuff today. glad I was able to 'catch-up' to y'all.

I know 'we' wussed out hitting the climb up big red with G-ride in tow but at least u got to see him throw down some mad drifting skills we've been 'practicing' when mom's not looking.

we're now working on wheelies with the trailer and as some of u witnessed still a work in process

anyway again fun ride and thanks to all for waiting up for this old man and STR Gen 2.0.

oh yeah, happy b-day to ezzy! and I hope to be back at it sans trailer next week

Kid A it was nice chatting with you and meeting your little boy. He's a handsome fellow. I saw you towing him uphill - I just closed my eyes.

Dusty fun riding with you hope we do it again soon!

Bailey10 - Mtnbikerfred's lil girl she almost made it down the singletrack. Of course she couldn't understand why I was a little tense at the end of the singletrack. I am trying to get her on her bike and there's a snake behind us just there slithering. I hate snakes! I swear it was the longest snake and it just slithered across the the track in slow motion. Geez! Now only if I could get myself to do what Bailey did today. Kudos to Bailey she was awesome today.

Great to see you out, its great taking the kids out too, they will crave it when they get older.

Bailey did an awesome job, hope she continues to ride. Good to see you out also, I am jealous I missed the snake, makes me in awe that this really is wilderness.

One of my favorite things about Taco Tuesday is after being in an office all day, I get on my bike, meet some new riders and have so much fun, I forget about all worries of the day and eat some awesome tacos. Thanks to all who participate in the great escape/liberation/delight we call Taco Tuesday.

You know what I love about Nan, is she is all about the people and the escape riding gives her, not about climbing huge hills or clearing rock gardens, she just loves to pedal

It was a nice ride, and for once I am not super sore after a STR ride. Only a couple menacing climbs but they are fairly short. Plus its nice go ride somewhere else. But I am not taking Fred's advice about middle ringing that big hill next time

And it was perfect weather. Thanks for the company and the dirt after a long day stuck inside. Like Dusty said, once you're out there, it's like the day just melts away. And then the gnats go up your nose and you remember where you are, but still. Good times, man.

Dang it!!!! I need a job in the OC. Anyone need a fresh MBA grad who thinks he knows too much about business, but really doesn't.
