What a fantastic time
Sam & Linda thanks for inviting us into your home and sharing your day with you!It was great to meet more women from STR (Trail Angels) and putting even more names to faces we see online everyday! Danny - your boys are just awsome - Maddie tends to shy away from boys (they have kuties ) but with some help from Brenda Maddie too had a great time! These type of get togethers are the reason STR is home to me! ![]() Thanks again for the invite! We had a great time!

That you all did, Sam. LOL!
Sorry I missed it, even if I'm not as "passionate" about beer as you all obviously are. Some of the look in peoples faces as you and others cracked open a new bottle is the same when junkies smell the smack coming. Pure and simple classic and hilarious! ![]() Case and point... Glad you all enjoyed yourselves! ![]()

Thanks Sam and Linda for hosting such a great party!
It was fun to meet all the kids, hike the trails, and learn to play dominoes. Thanks John and Kristine and Gene for keeping me up until 12:30 playing rock band! And thanks for making my bed and letting me sleep with all your pets. ![]() Here are the photos that I took: DSC04628.jpg DSC04629.jpg DSC04630.jpg DSC04631.jpg DSC04632.jpg DSC04633.jpg DSC04634.jpg DSC04636.jpg DSC04637.jpg DSC04638.jpg DSC04639.jpg DSC04640.jpg DSC04642.jpg DSC04643.jpg DSC04645.jpg DSC04646.jpg DSC04647.jpg DSC04650.jpg DSC04654.jpg DSC04655.jpg |

THANK YOU Sam and Linda for being such great hosts!
Everyone had a wonderful time - this will go down in STR history as one of the best. The First Annual Brewmaster Birthday (Ride and) Beer Tasting was a huge success. Can't wait for the raincheck ride soon and the Second Annual event next year. This will become an annual event, right? I hope your friends left you lots of good beers in your coolers!

haha I thought the beer I brought was going to be good enough- turns out it had nothing on what everyone else brought.
![]() I wasn't a big fan of the sour beers, but the Stouts were awsome! Don't remember which one it was but I believe it had one of the highest alcohol contents of any other beer that daym, it had some kick to it! Sam can you throw another one again and call it an after after party?? ![]()

Gary, I think the stout you are talking about is Mephistopheles Stout from Avery. 16% ABV will knock most people down.
Kristine, I hope this becomes an annual event. What's funny is I thought I would clear out some beer from my beer fridge, but I think I have more beer now than I did before the party. Unexpected, but cool.

I wish I could have made it but I had dinner plans with my parents. I did get to share a couple of these with my Dad though so not all was bad. We will have to do a ride/tasting next month!

We had a great time guys! It was good to meet everyone. Thanks a lot Sam and Linda for having us at your home. I brought a couple of six packs but they never made it into a cooler as there was never any room for them ... so hopefully they made it to your fridge. (And no we didn't bring the Miller Chill).
Hope to see some of you guys on a ride soon (Though we might stick to the Sunday social pace ride for a while until we can keep up!) ![]() |

Sammy... thanks for everything. You and Linda are great hosts and I had the time of my life... sorry about the plate glass window! Also, the stains will come out of the carpet and walls... you can always repaint and recarpet!
Wait a minute.. I missed this, didn't I??!! Oh well, I was there in spirit... and I hear you had plenty of spirits. Next time.... ![]()
